Welcome — I’m truly so glad you’re here.

I’m Jessica, the founder of Agapaò Birth Co., and I created this space out of a deep love for birth — the kind of love that is steady, selfless, and rooted in faith.

The word Agapaò comes from Ancient Greek and means “to love.” Not just any love — but the kind of love that serves, that holds, that honors, and that reflects God’s heart. That is the foundation of everything I hope to offer as a doula.

Birth Is a Sacred Transition

I believe birth is so much more than a physical event.

It is a transition — of body, mind, and spirit.

A baby is embarking on the journey from one world into the next… and a woman is transforming too. Whether this is your first baby or your tenth, each birth is new. Each experience carries its own surrender, strength, and renewal.

To be welcomed into a birther’s space is an honor I do not take lightly. It is holy ground. It is holy work.

One of the verses that has carried me through many seasons is Romans 12:2:

"Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…"

That verse holds so much weight — because birth, too, is transformative. Mindset matters. Perspective matters. The words spoken over a mother matter.

I strive to help create a space filled with gratitude, peace, strength, and trust in God’s will.

Why I Became a Doula

I became a doula because I absolutely love the birth space.

I’m also a mother of two beautiful boys, and my own birth experiences shaped my passion deeply.

My first birth was a hospital induction with an epidural.

My second was a peaceful, transformative home birth — and it was during that experience that I truly learned the power of informed consent, advocacy, and what it means for a woman to feel fully supported and fully heard.

That is my hope for every mother I serve.

My Heart for Every Client

My role is not to take over your birth.

My role is to walk beside you.

To hold space for you.

To educate, encourage, and support you — so you feel empowered in your choices, confident in your voice, and grounded through every transition.

I care deeply about the empowerment of women… and the empowerment of the family unit as well, including partners when present.

But most of all, I want to awaken something primal and powerful inside of you…

The version of you that already knows how to do this.

The lioness.

The strength that God placed within you.
